Terms of service
Last updated: March 30, 2026
Agreement
By accessing or using KinsBlood (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
We provide an online text-based game and related features. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Accounts & conduct
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must not cheat, harass others, attempt to break or overload systems, or use the Service unlawfully.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our rules, or applicable law—including actions described in our moderation and account policies.
User content
You retain rights to content you submit, but you grant us a license to host, store, display, and use that content as needed to run the Service (e.g. character names, in-game messages where applicable).
Paid features & billing (when available)
Optional subscriptions or purchases (for example premium features or buff items) may be offered through Stripe, using the same general approach as our other products: you are sent to Stripe Checkout (or other Stripe-hosted flows) to pay; we do not ask you to type card numbers into our own servers, and we do not store your full card details or payment credentials on our side.
- Confirmation: We use Stripe’s APIs and webhooks (or equivalent verified notifications) to confirm payment or subscription status and to grant or revoke access in the game.
- Prices & taxes: Fees, billing cycles, refunds, and taxes will be shown at checkout or in Stripe’s customer flows where applicable.
- Stripe: Your use of Stripe’s payment pages is also subject to Stripe’s terms and privacy policy.
Until such features are live, this section is informational only.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty US dollars (USD), unless a higher minimum applies in your jurisdiction.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to mandatory consumer protections where you live, the state and federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah have exclusive jurisdiction and venue. If the operator is based elsewhere, have counsel substitute the appropriate state and venue.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, where allowed by law.
