How to Play

Welcome to the MUD—a web-based text adventure. Type commands in the game input to explore, fight creatures, complete quests, and level up.

Quick Start

  1. Create a character – Choose name, profession (Warrior, Wizard, Ranger, Empath, Cleric), race, and allocate 35 stat points.
  2. Click Play – You start in Fountain Square. Type look to see the room.
  3. Get a quest – Go to the Bank (dir bank for directions), then go cellar to reach the cellar. ask Aldric for quest to kill rats.
  4. Fight & loot – attack rat, then loot rat for gold. Skin corpses with skin rat. HP and mana regenerate passively over time.
  5. Level up – Earn reputation, then ask mayor for status at the Mayor's Office.
  6. Pet the cat – A fluffy orange cat roams the town; pet cat when it's in your room to make it purr.
  7. Locked strongboxes – Get them from Vex the Lockpick (ask Vex for boxes). Give him a chest, accept his offer (15% fee) to open it.
