Shop Commands

order – List items and prices. order <n> – Put one catalog line on your order (no quantity—stack matching herbs or bundlable potions with bundle after purchase). buy – Pay and receive. Same rules at Herbalist, Potion, Weapons, and Armor: both hands empty to order. In the catalog UI, one line is “on your order” at a time; click another line to switch before paying.

Some shards apply culture pricing: if a sub-area has a governed race (majority culture), list prices may be a bit lower for matching characters and a bit higher for visitors; Influence can shave a small extra percent. Defaults and tuning live in Admin → Game Settings (sub-area shop pricing).

Pawnshops (the tables)

A pawnshop is a vendor that buys used gear from players and re-sells it from a rotating catalog. Pawnshop rooms describe a small set of sturdy tables at the end of their description — typically a weapon table, an armor table, and a catch-all miscellaneous table, though the exact set is configurable per realm. In the web client each table noun is clickable and runs look on <name> table; the bare look on table still works and shows every configured table stacked together with section headers.

Looking at a table opens a popup listing every item of that type currently for sale at that shop with its buy price (each row is itself clickable—click an item to open the same inspect card you would get from look at <item>, with a new Pawn price row added at the bottom). Items are listed in the order they were last stocked. Each table holds a fixed number of consignments — by default 15 on the weapon and armor tables and 30 on the miscellaneous table. When a table fills up, the oldest entry on it gets pushed off to make room for the newest. Pawnshops also won’t bother re-listing herbs or junk by default—they still pay you for those items, but they go in the bin instead of onto the floor. Use buy <item> with at least one empty hand to purchase, exactly like the other shops.

The pawn buy price is a markup on the item’s base value and is affected by the same town / culture multipliers that apply to ordinary shops; if a regular town shop happens to carry the same item, the inspect popup shows that town list price below the pawn price so you can compare.

Ledger & Tess (player marketplace)

The Ledger Hall is not a catalog shop: listings are posted by players and shared across every game instance that uses the same database (cross-realm). From Town Center, type go ledger. In the web client, click Tess the Tallymistress to open the ledger window.

Buying needs at least one empty hand and coin on you. Selling: hold the item in your weapon or shield hand and in the ledger window choose which hand to list (both hands may be full), set a price (gold / silver / copper), and pick a listing duration (1, 3, or 7 days). Treasure-type items, loose coin pile items, and locked items cannot be listed.

Slot fees: the first listing slot is free; each additional slot costs N silver × your level (slot 2 = 1s × level, slot 3 = 2s × level), charged on list and relist. Expired listings can be retrieved (claim item back, needs a free hand) or relisted (same price and duration, slot fee re-applied).

A hall tithe (percent of the sale, in copper) is taken from the buyer’s payment; the rest accrues as ledger credit on the seller’s account. Click Collect coin in the ledger window to transfer credit to your wallet. When you buy bundled hides from a stacked listing, the items wait at the ledger as buyer pickups—click Receive into hand (needs a free hand) to collect each one. Those limits are set per server. Type market in the hall for a quick recap, or help market anywhere for the full topic.
